Voyageur Radiology was born from the entrepreneurial spirit of Dr. Steven D. Johnson. In working with hospitals, imaging centers and clinics throughout the Midwest, Dr. Johnson recognized a market need for a unique teleradiology network. All healthcare facilities need some combination of on-site, remote, daytime, night-time and over-read coverage for radiology services. Voyageur Radiology was founded to address this need.
Voyageur partnered with on-demand technology service provider, 7 Medical Systems, to develop a Virtual Teleradiology Network (VTN) designed specifically to deliver the best radiology services. The Voyageur-7 Medical VTN combines Voyageur's network of radiologists with 7 Medical's on-demand teleradiology technology, resulting in the most advanced teleradiology network available on the market.
The Virtual Teleradiology Network uses the most advanced technology to provide hospitals and clinics with the most efficient workflows and the fastest turn-around times on reports. Reports are standardized and can be delivered according to customer specifications, via email, fax or online. The VTN combines best-in-breed technology with the most experienced radiologists, enabling healthcare facilities to deliver the highest quality of care.
